News - ‘Poor’ response to sponsorship call

for this year’s Battle of Britain Air Display.
It comes after an RAF Chinook department of insurance and finance visited the island to help promote the event.
Classic aeroplanes, including the Battle of Britain Finance insurance tourist zurich
Flight and the Red Arrows, take part in the free air display each year.
But the increased cost of insurance for the aircraft has forced the organising committee to look to companies to help fund the event.
They have been asking businesses in the island to sponsor it, but say so far the response has been poor, zuerich insurance finance
from the finance sector.
They are also hoping to expand the events to include private functions like aircraft viewings and RAF memorabilia exhibitions to raise more money.
