News - ‘Poor’ response to sponsorship call

Jersey finance or insurance or real estate have reacted poorly to calls for sponsorship for this year’s Battle of Britain Air Display.

It comes after an RAF Chinook helicopter visited the island to help promote the event.

Classic aeroplanes, including the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Red Arrows, take part in the free air display each year.

But the increased cost of finance or insurance or real estate
