The pre-existing condition is any frequent illness you have been treated over a certain amount of time. The timeframe of the illness are different from one insurance company to another. Make sure you understand your health insurance policy before signing up to any health insurance policy.
The implication of pre-existing condition can mean the insurance company may decline to pay your claims made on any medical or illness associated with pre-existing condition. In the consumer perspective, this may seem to be unfair, but for the health insurance company this is required to protect the company.
The pre-existing conditions are much less dramatic and may include something like cancer pneumonia. If you have pre-existing conditions, it doesn’t mean you cannot get any health insurance coverage at all. Sometime it may mean you cannot get the insurance company to pay for certain things that have been ongoing in the past months or years before signing up with the policy. Make sure you ask your have insurance agent about all the pre-existing policy for any health insurance package you are considering and fully understand the pre-existing condition before signing up.
